Attributive forms

Als je zegt 'de grappige film' of 'een grappige mop', gebruik je 'grappige' vóór het zelfstandig naamwoord.

With definite article: de grappige; "De grappige film is leuk."
With indefinite article: een grappige; "Ik heb een grappige mop gehoord."
Without article: grappig; "Hij is grappig."

Predicative form

Na 'zijn' of 'worden' gebruik je altijd 'grappig': De jongen is grappig.

Comparative

Om te zeggen dat iets leuker is, gebruik je 'grappiger': Deze film is grappiger dan die andere film.
